Band Directors
Shawn Mitterholzer
Shawn Mitterholzer is the Band Director at MCHS. He also
teaches chorus and music appreciation. He is originally from Brunswick, Ohio,
and moved to Nashville to attend Trevecca Nazarene University. There he received
a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance. While attending Trevecca, he traveled
with several ensembles throughout the southeast, as well as performed for
various studio projects, combos, and ensembles. Since graduating from Trevecca,
he has performed with the Tennessee Jazz Orchestra, The Moonlighters, The Bo
Thorpe Orchestra, and several other artists in the Nashville area. He is
married.
Jennifer Holmes
Jennifer Holmes is the Assistant Band Director. She is the Band Director at the
Junior High School. She also teaches Music Appreciation.
