📚REGISTRATION DAY📚 Registration Day is tomorrow, August 1st. Any student who has not registered for the 2025-2026 school year must register tomorrow at the school the student will attend.

🏫LAST DAYS TO COMPLETE SKYWARD ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR RETURNING MACON COUNTY STUDENTS 🏫 Parents are encouraged to register their children before online registration closes on Tuesday, July 29th. Registering online will keep parents and students from having to attend school on registration day, August 1st, 2025. There are also several forms that will be completed during online registration that will not have to be completed on paper. Any NEW student to Macon County Schools for the 2025-2026 school year that has not already registered will need to register on August 1st at the school that your child will attend. Parents of Kindergarten Students who registered in April should have received an email with their Skyward Login information. It would have been sent to the email address that you provided on the Skyward form during April registration. We have several parents who have started the online registration process but have not completed it. If you did not complete all forms/steps in the process, your child will not be registered. Attention MCHS Juniors and Junior parents: Formal pictures are next week. There is a required $25 sitting fee. Please bring this fee to your scheduled picture time.
Girls’ pictures are next Wednesday, March 20th. Girls, please wear an undershirt that can easily slip off your shoulders. The sitting fee includes one casual outfit. Please bring your casual outfit with you.
Boys’ pictures are next Thursday, March 21st. Boys, please wear a plain white T-shirt or bring one. The sitting fee includes one casual outfit. Please bring your casual outfit with you.
Students can wear their casual outfits to school if they adhere to the school dress code. Per the school dress code, facial piercings are not allowed in the formal picture.
Pictures will be available for purchase at MCHS in room 113 on Saturday, March 23rd, and Sunday, March 24th from 9 am - 4 pm.
ATTENTION MCHS SENIORS: The mandatory TN Promise Meeting has been rescheduled for February 15 at 11:00am in the auditorium.
MCHS SENIORS-There will be a FAFSA Workshop for seniors and parents on Thursday, January 25 from 11:00 am-4:00 pm in the MCHS Library. Parents need to bring W2's and tax return for 2022. No appointments are needed.
POSTPONED: The Mandatory TN Promise Meeting for MCHS seniors that was scheduled for Wednesday, January 24 has been POSTPONED due to school closure. They are working to reschedule this meeting and a new date will be shared as soon as possible.

2023 Summer School Application
***MCHS Class of 2023*** Graduation Info Packet has been added to the Class of 2023 Google Classroom. This has a list of all pertinent dates as well as the graduation dress code and times.
Jostens is offering a Letterman jacket for the players on sports teams at Macon County High School.
FYI: Letterman jackets are intended to be ordered by any freshman who has completed his first year of a high school sport (thus one letter) and upperclassmen still involved in a sport. Jim Craig, with Jostens, was here at MCHS yesterday-Monday- to help with the sizing of these jackets. You may order your letterman jacket by logging on to the site below. Examples of the MCH jacket are available as well as any add-ons desired.

March 2023 Tutoring Schedule
All Macon County High School and Red Boiling Springs High School Seniors, please see attached information about FAFSA Parent Night.
MCHS Track and Field will be hosting a Soup Supper Fundraiser on Tuesday, January 24th at 5pm in the MCHS Cafeteria.
***2023 MCHS BOY'S SOCCER TEAM*** There will be a player and parent meeting on Tuesday, November 1 in the High School Auditorium starting at 6 pm. All players and parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
MCHS Parents and Students: On Tuesday, October 25th a Cross Country Event will be held on the campus of Macon County High School at 2:00pm. Due to the time of the event entry and space needed, MCHS will dismiss at 12:00 pm on this day. All student drivers and pickups will leave at noon. Students who need to ride a bus will remain on campus in the auditorium until their bus arrives at normal dismissal time. All other schools in Macon County will be on a normal schedule on Tuesday, October 25th.
